Independence day at BDMI (29)

Celebrating 73 years of Freedom….

B.D.M.International took immense pleasure to celebrate the red letter day in the history of India with great pride and honour befitting the occasion. This auspicious day at B.D.M.I. began with the hoisting of the tricolor accompanied by the march past. The junior students of the institution had put up a glimpse of free spirits and rich traditions through songs like “Azadi ki Khuli Hawa Mein”, “Swarg Se Sundar” and a beautiful rendition of medley with recitation as “Deshmatrika” by the senior students. The dance drama on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and ‘Mangal Mangal’ by the junior students could invoke the souls to the glory of the Nation. The “Walk for the Nation” by the senior students was a solemn tribute to those unsung heroes who selflessly laid their lives for the country’s Purna Swaraj. The recitations were filled with patriotic fervor. The dance performances enthralled the audience with the elements of rhythm, melody and harmony that filled the hearts with strains of patriotism. The B.D.M.I. students also celebrated Raksha Bandhan- the thread of protection by displaying a platform of unity, by tying rachis around the wrist of those who have always been the voluntary kins protecting them. A genuine accomplishment of performances emphasizing on the tiring self -sacrifices of the freedom fighters madethe celebration a great success. The day , thus, came to a fulfillment with the vote of thanks by the Heads of the institution and the National Anthem sung in unison.
