WAR AGAINST ADDICTION- “I am the king of my mind”

The workshop dealt with one of the most burning issues of all ages- ‘effect of smoking, alcoholism and other drugs on youth’. It was conducted by Mr. Bobby Chakroborty, a social activist, who encouraged the students to say ‘No’ to drugs, smoking and alcohol, through his enthusiastic and interactive ways. The students participated with full zeal and energy and played a vital role in making the workshop a success. The students were made aware about various ill-effects of smoking, alcoholism and abuse. They were also encouraged to play the role of social soldiers and give importance to ‘Health, Career and Family’.

Overall it was an interesting and fruitful workshop which was aimed at educating young minds. BDM International has taken up “Teenage Problems” as one of its ISA projects. Hence such workshops and talk shows are definitely going to make our students free from substance abuse and help them build a Deaddicted Healthier and Safer India.
