Is today a day to gather strength from the storm?

Or is today a day to sit by the fire and watch the storm rage outside?

The problem of child abuse- sexual, physical and emotional as well, has reached an epidemic proportion in India.

To find out effective ways B.D.M.International has hosted a number of workshops which are child- centric, preventive and holistic in approach. The purpose of the workshops is to create a safety circle for students from abuses.
Dr. Sanjay Garg- a renowned Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences Doctor of Fortis Hospital, a Senior Consultant with extensive experience, an examiner and lecturer at University of Glasgow, has extended his valuable suggestions by conducting a workshop for teachers of B.D.M.I. on 30th June, 2018 and another workshop for students and parents on 17th July.2018.
In continuation, B.D.M.I. has hosted another workshop on 27th November 2018 on Project CACA- Children against Child Abuse- a safety program for schools under the umbrella term of Life Skills and Value Education.
Social Axiom Foundation has conducted the workshop and the Resource Person was Mr. Pradeep – the Director for implementation of the project. 21 schools under the different boards – CBSE, ICSE and State board, have attended the workshop.

The essence of the project is not “Authority, Accountability and Competition, But Responsibility and Collaboration among the stakeholders’. The workshop has been successfully held being itself an intensive, reflective, persuasive and anecdotal in approach.
