Our Story

B.D.M. International was established on 1 May 1966 with the vision of creating an institution that would redefine quality education by combining academic excellence with holistic development. Founded by Late Shri G.N. Khaitan and Late Smt. Draupadi Devi Khaitan, under the pioneering leadership of the Founder Principal, Late Mrs. Usha Mehta, the school began its journey with a commitment to nurturing young minds through value-based, learner-centric education.

The institution commenced its remarkable journey with just five students, embodying a dream to provide quality education rooted in strong values and academic rigour. Over the past six decades, that modest beginning has blossomed into one of Eastern India's premier CBSE institutions, educating over 7,500 students and supported by a dedicated team of more than 350 educators.
