When I think back to my days at B.D.M. International, I remember the P2 Building being constructed amidst the surrounding fields. Those memories, along with the immense respect I hold for Usha Mehta Ma’am, the Founder Principal, remain close to my heart. Seeing how far B.D.M. International has come fills me with immense pride.

My years at B.D.M. International taught me that success is not defined by grades alone, but by the person you become. Treat people with respect, stay true to your values, and keep your character strong. Your attitude shapes your journey, and your character ultimately determines your altitude.

My time at BDMI has been an amazing and wholesome journey filled with immense learning, great friendships, and truly valuable guidance.Choosing just one memory from the endless list is a tough task.

In the entire journey as a BDMIan, the greatest impact I had was from my favourite teachers - Arindam Bakshi sir, Subhasish Majumdar (SM) Sir, Neha Dhanuk ma'am. My favourite moment was when I was made prefect and when I was felicitated for being in top 3, top 4 in my class 11 & 12 journey. I wish all the fellow BDMIans all the best for their future.

My favourite memory would have to be from Class VII, when we as a batch had to organise Teachers' Day. It was a really fun event and gave us a taste of what was to come eventually. **B.D.M. International has always been more than a school to me, shaping my growth through learning and experiences. The memories I made there continue to remain special.**

Being a part of B.D.M. International was truly a privilege, and I feel fortunate to have spent my formative years in such a vibrant environment. The lessons, guidance from our teachers and atmosphere of learning shaped who I am today. Beyond academics, BDMI gave me the precious gift of friends for life, whose bonds have stood the test of time. Even after eight years, I often find myself missing those unforgettable school days. It feels like yesterday that we walked through the hallways, shared laughs in the corridors and navigated school life together. The nostalgia remains as fresh as ever. To the entire BDMI family, past and present, thank you for creating a space that has left such a lasting and cherished impact on all of us.

BDMI has been more than just a school to me; it has been a significant part of my life. From Kindergarten to Class XII, I grew up here, shaped by the knowledge, wisdom and mentorship I received. Beyond academics, I cherish the friendships I built, many of which remain strong even today. The people and memories I carry from BDMI will always hold a special place in my heart.

During our school days, I often wondered why we had so many extracurricular activities, from art and dance to sports and project work, when they seemed unrelated to our interests. Today, I realise that the purpose was never to make us artists or dancers, but to teach us coordination, collaboration, teamwork and leadership. Looking back, I believe many of the leadership skills I carry today were shaped by my experiences at BDMI.

It is difficult to single out one special memory from my BDMI journey. Beyond academics, one of the greatest gifts I gained was friendship. The friendships I made at BDMI have stayed with me over the years, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have met such wonderful people. My years at BDMI were filled with memorable experiences, meaningful friendships and the guidance of inspiring teachers. Looking back, I realise how deeply these experiences contributed to my growth and shaped the person I am today.

Some of my fondest BDMI memories are tied to the excitement before our annual fest, from endless dance rehearsals and last-minute preparations to the joy of creating something together with friends. Those days remain some of the moments I cherish most. More than anything, BDMI gave me friendships that shaped my school years and memories that have stayed with me long after graduation. Life may have taken us in different directions, but whenever I think of BDMI, I remember the people and experiences that made those years unforgettable. No matter how far we go, a part of those school days always stays with us. Once a BDMIan, always a BDMIan.

Forever grateful to the teachers who patiently guided and nurtured us, and to the friends who filled our school days with laughter, conversations and countless memories. School was our little world, a guardian shield that shaped us with love, care and values while giving us lifelong friendships. Some memories are simply meant to be felt, cherished and remembered. I had the best time of my life during my school days. And I would want to live those days over and over again.

BDMI has given me countless memories to cherish, especially our fest practices, the most awaited time of the year. We would eagerly look forward to those practice sessions, pretending to be disappointed about missing our regular classes. We would gather on the grounds, practise, gossip, laugh and watch our seniors perform. Those carefree gatherings were truly the golden days, and I still cherish them.

I begin with a heartfelt thank you to my teachers, who shaped me into the person I am today and supported me beyond academics. I completed my entire schooling at BDMI, from Nursery to Grade 12, spending fifteen formative years of my life here. BDMI shaped my personality and laid the foundation for my journey. Today, as I travel the world pursuing my passion for music, I continue to carry the knowledge and values I gained from my school. Proud to be a BDMIan, always.

Some of my fondest school memories are the football matches at the intersection and the games periods. Even so, I can still clearly recall the hours spent helping Sourav Sir prepare the props right before the Annual Fest. Coming back for Saraswati Pujo after graduating has turned out to be a wonderful chance to reconnect, and I'm hoping this will also be a great opportunity to catch up with old friends.
