B.D.M. International witnessed an exciting, brain-teasing interschool chess competition christened as ‘Shatranj 2023’ on 27th September 2023. The chess maestro Mr. Aronyak Ghosh graced the occasion as the chief guest. The gala event was set in motion by the esteemed Principal of the school Ms. Madhumita Sengupta with her first move on the black and white board.
The competition attracted nearly 23 reputed schools of Kolkata. The tournament was a spectacle of great chess wizardry.
