As a supporter of the United Nations SDGs have always embraced these International Days as we believe that they are a powerful advocacy tool; they offer us the opportunity to organize activities related to the theme of the day & create awareness for the same.
BDMI joined hands with UNESCO in cooperation with Living Waters Museum to involve students in educational and action-oriented activities focusing on fresh water-related issues.
With the theme of “Invest in our Planet” the students were motivated to engage in environmentally conscious (Eco- friendly) practices.
The young ones also composed short poems and stories with appropriate illustrations to sensitize their peers.
Participation in these activities rekindled concerns in students about our blue planet.
