Observation Of World Heritage Day At B.D.M.International

World Heritage day 1 500x331 1

Honouring the Heritage

The International Day for Monuments and Sites also known as World Heritage Day is an observance held on 18th April every year since 1982. B.D.M.International has yet again taken a great initiative towards making the celebration of 38th World Heritage Day worthwhile and raising the bar of awareness towards the same, by organising a debate among the high school students on the topic “Observance of one day as World Heritage Day can create awareness among people about the conservation of cultural heritage.” There were four teams- Taj Mahal, The Statue of Liberty, Red Fort, and The Great Wall. All the participants ably upheld their assertions, and with the enriching presence of our Principal, Distinguished Members of the Jury and Teachers, the debate came to an end with them applauding the progenies’ abilities. All together it was a wonderful event and a great experience for the students.
